Where else in the Midlands Area can you get 12 months  Model Boat Sailing AND a Clubhouse with decent Ales for this fantastic price ?

New update to facebook page

I have now updated our clubs facebook page, to include a "Group forum page". I now provide this for all CMBC club members to freely use for all club items, be it sailing dates/updates, buys/sells, club meeting updates etc.
All you need to do is join facebook, then find our club page Chasewater Model Boat Club, click on the link to "join group" and i will add you, no problem.

I thought it may be an easier way to encourage club members communication, especially if setting up sailing meets, or if you were unable to attend, you can simply post to this page and then anyone viewing the page can see the update messages.

Hope it works, but need members to join it, saves on your phone bills !

Steve from the Sailing club was most apologetic saying that he was under the weather and simply forgot to open up.
Terry managed to get his deposits for the December meal and passed out pre order cards.
Note there will be a Club 500 race this Sunday 19th, 10 for 10.30 am start please. 3 races, all welcome more the merrier.

Two weeks ago we ended with not one boat running and had a great time. I got some much needed exercise rowing Tigger the recovery boat. last week we used the lagoon, Don with his fast Cat, Phil with Sea Commander, Ed with his Dragon Force, Paul and me with 500`s & Alan all enjoyed a cold but fun hour or so to blow the cobwebs out. Note** This Tuesday 14th is our last meeting this year prior to the Christmas meal, at The Turf, in place of our December meet.It would be nice to see as many members as possible in the Sailing Club house at 7-7.30 pm for a beer and chat. Please can …
