Just a brief report thanking the members who turned up at the sailing club for our March meeting, i`m sure Steve will do a short set of minutes.
Last Sunday was warm, sunny and calm, John sailed his lovely Police boat, Don his fast cat, Paul his fast cat, Terry managed to flip his Arrow on a wave from the ski boats and i had a couple of fast runs with my Lynx.
We did hold our first evening sail prior to the Tuesday  meeting, it was a gorgeous sunset on a lovely calm, dry night.
The response was slightly underwhelming with Phil with his well lit up RAF launch, Paul with a 500 which had so many fairy lights on it there was no power to run the motor and me with my Action man and Sindy doll cruiser lit up like a Christmas tree. Mark did put a Huffy in the pool also.
Its your club chaps, please take part in the fun events if you can.
Sunday 19th our 3rd club 500 race of the year, 10.30 1st race, 2nd race to follow as agreed approx 11.15.
Any help needed to set the course out would be appreciated and lap counters please. Use this time to hone your skills for when we have inter club 500 races later in the year.
