Saturday Sailing: - updated 20:45pm 23/3/14.

The afternoon session which I was able to attend was purely for sailing, as all the hard work had been cleared away during the morning.
There were a good selection of yachts on the water, the site providing a steady breeze to challenge even the more advanced sailors.
There was also time for testing out the "M" shaped 500 course. We had a good number of boats start the , er "fun race" test and our club members soon got the hang of the course and its marker positions.
there was one incident which admittidly should of ended with a "RED CARD", Driving a boat in the wrong direction against traffic flow was not going to go without incident and unfortunately the leading boat was taken out by our Club Chairman. I dare say a copy of sailing rules will be in the post in the coming days [ha ha].

* REMINDER * Any club members wanting to attend the first of the interclub 500 fun races, held at Rugeley please contact me with details by 6th April AT THE LATEST, as I have to inform their club of attendee's and ensure the gate security gets a full list of people [and cars] attending. Failure to do so will not get you site entry.

Mark has also kindly forwarded some more pictures of the sailing session:
