Saturday 8/2/14.

Yet again, the bad weather has  stopped our club members from sailing today [as far as I'm aware]. I recorded wind speeds of 45mph at my home, I won't mention the rain too much, there are far too many people out there at this moment in distress over flooding of homes, villages and towns.
Farmers are loosing livestock and crops and some of our Sea front towns are being battered by huge waves rarely seen on such a frequent and regular occurrence of late.

Blue skies and calmer winds is what we need now for a while..............

  1. Doesn't look great for next weekend either: wind over 20mph gusting to mid thirties
