Saturday Sailing 27/8/11.

Bank HolidaySaturday 27th, the last bank holiday before Christmas,ok so I've mentioned the dreaded word already and August is not finished yet! there were only a few members sailing this afternoon, the majority of callers to the pool came to purchase a hull kit off Mark.
Mark has finally after much hard work and long days managed to get his very own vac former working properly and is now able to produce these hull kits for our proposed club racing schedule.
The final touches are being completed to the "build instructions", which will give the builder all the necessary details about specific motor type, propeller shaft, propeller and rudder and of course, battery size. These will be the limiting factors to keep the club racing boat on a level score with everyone else. "X or S" type propellers will not be permitted either, standard twin blade only.

So heres a few pictures from saturdays sailing, hopefully if the weather holds there may be more of you at the pool on Tuesday.

In the meantime, as a bit of an "in fill" I have also attached some pictures and video clips of some of the car racing from Mallory Park's classic car racing event, Sunday/Monday 28th/29th August. I was fortunate enough to be offered not just a free ticket, but also a spare passenger seat to get there and back !
