Tuesday evening meet was held at the usual "watering place" for our clubs monthly meeting. Considering how warm the evening was, only a few ventured out seeking a "cold one", So no formal club business was discussed.
Mark [Club Chairman] sent notice the he will not be organising the "team boat build" at the Rugeley Power Station open Day, this coming Saturday, so its with regret that I advise club members not to contact him, reference being one of the team players in this.
Upon reading tonights evening edition of the Express & Star newspaper, Sandwell Model Boat Club's waters have become the latest pool to succumb to blanketweed and they have had to find another venue untill their parks rangers can resolve the problem, as it has been fouling propellers and sail boat keels leaving them stranded out in the pool. here's hoping they can get back to some normality soon.
Mark One of our club members has aquired another model boat and has sent me some pictures of it so we can all see it. Nice one Mark! Can't wait to see it powered up on the pool.
