Greensforge Open day 18/6/11.

Chasewater Model Boat Club was allowed to attend the greensforge Sailing Club open day, held at their lakeside venue near to gailey on Saturday 18th June. Our club had a good attendence of members displaying their boats oth in and out of the water. many of our members also took the time to demonstrate the controls and also how to sail their boats to some of the Greensforge members which was really great to see and hopefully appreciated, so well done to all those who took their time to do this, it is and was well appreciated by all.
We did however "loose" one of our members for a while, well just taking a boat out for a little spin around the lake so to speak [ha ha]. Nice one Mark ! you certanly showed a few people how to handle a full size boat out there, let alone your superb model sail boat too, which also seemed to impress a few people too.
The weather was a little mixed but fortunately not as bad as the previous weekend over at pelsall's event. A few of our club members took time out to check the comforts of the Greensforge Clubhouse, er remember guys, dont get too comfy !
On behalf of Chasewater Model Boat CLub, we would like to express our sincere thanks  to Greensforge Sailing Club for the invite to your clubs event and also the kind and generous hospitality you all showed to our members during the day, we all hope that we can attend another show at your site again.

On with the pictures.
* Many thanks  to Greensforge  Sailing Club for the kind permission to allow certain photographs published here of some of the junior members, without this, we would not be allowed to publish them on this site. *
Some people will photograph anything!
