Hi, fresh from our teams sound thrashing of local club Aldridge MBC, in the club 500 return, just a few dates for diaries.
Sailing club Curry night 7th Oct, i`m on holiday so cant attend.
Bonfire party November TBA. I expect it to be around the 5th at a guess!
New Year party 31st Dec live band Johnny and the Speedo`s
Our AGM 3rd Tuesday October 17th, come and see/ change what`s happening in 2018, time 7.00 for 7.30 prompt.
Prior to that the 1st evening sail of the Autumn, open to any boat fitted with any light/s. Surprise us, more the merrier.
Christmas Dinner, not to be missed!!
Last year we had a good night, good food and company. Terry has kindly agreed to take numbers and generally sort it.
It will be at the same venue as last year The Turf Carvery A5. (01543 373292). Second Tuesday in December instead of our regular December meet.
Its 3 courses, the cost £13.99 per head
Choice of starters, Cream of Tom soup, King prawn & Lobster cocktail, Honeydew Melon or Duck pate.
Mains, Turkey, Beef, Gammon & Pork from Carvery also Salmon fillet or Veggie option. All as usual with help yourself vegetables/ trimmings.
Puds, Dairy Ice cream, Profiterole, Cookie dough cream pie, Ginger bread Sundae, Chrimbo Pud or Festive crumble.
Tea or coffee and a Festive CRACKER!
Please let Terry know preferably by Email before the AGM as we need numbers. They do ask for a non returnable £5.00 per head deposit when booking, but Terry may be able to sweet talk them?
