Less than 24 hours to go for Chasewater Model Boat Club's Sailing Regatta.
We welcome you ALL to come along and take a look, visit the club stand's, sample the cake stall, which will be offering tasty "home made" cakes as well as pre packed "shop jobbies".
Sailing starts at 10.00am with a "free sail" session, whilst everyone gets set up, so all types of boats are welcome to start things off and try our water space out, including the recently laid out steering course.
A "Blind Sailing" challenge will be held during the event, all signed in persons are welcome to take the bull by the horns and have a go, see how good you really are at listening AND taking instruction from your team mate.
Directions:
If you follow signs for "Chasewater" and follow the A5 towards Burntwood, the site is accessed from the "Westbound" carriageway, follow the
slip road on to "Pool Road", go over the Toll motorway bridge and enter the Chasewater Park Site. Public Parking is available as you enter the site on your LEFT.
ALL club members and members of Invited Clubs, please continue along the driveway, follow the road side signs "Model Boat Regatta" to the Ski Club Centre Site. Which is clearly visible on your right as you approach the last right bend in the road. The heritage railway station is on your right. Please turn right in to the Ski Club site and a member of our club will open the barrier for you and direct you where to park.
