Fortunately, today proved "third time lucky"! As unfortunately due to bad weather earlier in the year, we did have to postpone this event twice, both times due to snow and ice, which was totally the opposite to today's weather. The sun was definitely "out", but so was a rather brisk breeze too. It was definitely not a day to be sailing on the main lake as the waves were very choppy and some even white topped.
Many thanks to the club members that found the time to promote our RNLI day and also to the kind donations handed over by passing members of the public too. ALL donations collected will go direct to RNLI, I assure you.
Many thanks to the Members of Rugeley club that took the time to pop over to our site, even if most of it was purely for a chat, no problem, your support at our club stand was appreciated.
Our next event is Pelsall Canal festival, Saturday & Sunday 15th /16th June so if you fancy coming along to see our boats and meet with some of our club members, maybe even discuss joining our club, why not pop over for an hour or so and have a chat to us.
