The main lake is still one of very few things that is really enjoying all this rainfall we are currently enduring. This is one of the reasons why I am now keeping a more regular update on it for you.
The deep water middle section is now being used by full size sail craft without problem and the windsurfers can easily use the rest too.
The water has now reached the slipway for the boat hire, close the the railway station. The deep water channel access to the sailing school is also deepening with water [as seen from the far side of the lake].
The water has now also reached the foot of the main dam wall, All we need to do now is watch it slowly climb up to the half way level.......
