Following on from our cancelled Saturday sailing, following the last few nights below zero temperatures "yet again", the pool surface remains covered with an ice layer. The overnight temperature at my house recorded minus 6 degrees!
So I have to suggest that unless there is a sudden temperature rise, Tuesday's sailing will also be postponed.
HOWEVER !
Sunshine on the horizon, Chasewater MBC has another invite to attend a show. Pelsall Canal Festival, 11th & 12th June. We are hoping to have a small pitch with gazeebo and soem tables so we can put on a reasonable disply of model boats.
Invite are now out to all CMBC members if you would like to attend this show, please get back to me [secretary] asap, so I can start a member list of attendee's.
The same offer also goes out for the Weston Park model show in July, we still have spaces available for any member wishing to attend.
Chasewater inovation centre also have a fairly busy calendar of events, both for shcools and visitors throughout the year and Chasewater MBC have now been invited to attend certain event within their calandar as appropriate too. these events may be taking palce during the week or weekend, but even a token attendance by some CMBC members would be very much appreciated by all.
