Unfortunately, we have to start with some very unfortunate news, I have to say that John Collins has passed away suddenly. On Behalf of Chasewater Model Boat Club and all our Club Members out deepest sympathy goes out to Johns Family and also to Phil. I apologize for the lack of any other information, but this was only passed on to me briefly today.

Following the sad news regarding John Collins this is a very difficult report for me to put together.
Arriving at the pool today we were met by a fantastic site as you can see in the pictures the water was absolutely flat calm.
This was doubled edged sword, great for the fast electric and scale boats but because of the total lack of wind yachting was not possible.
We had four fast electric guys including new member Tony enjoying the conditions and had some a few close races.
Carl hit a wave at high speed causing it to flip and not to be outdone Terry followed by doing exactly the same.
