Firstly, sincere apologies for no pictures of the Saturday sailing from the 16th but still to receive them, along with a report on the action. unfortunately I was not available due to another meeting attendance.
So here's a few recent pictures of the main lake, to include the overflow sluice, to really show how full the lake is. it IS at its maximum depth, well in advance of expected time scale. The only problem will be that CRT, formerly British waterways will be drawing water off by May this year. However they have stated that they will only draw off between 1.75 mtr and 2.0 mtrs in depth. but the more you think about it, thats still quite a volume of water to drain off! This will also be a good test for all the refurbished valve gear that was repaired prior to the lake being allowed to refill.

Come and test your nerve with a Ski ride or take a run out across the lake in a speed boat. Or maybe try your hand at Sailing or windsurfing.
