Folowing quickly on from yesterdays posting, simply just to "catch up" before the nest post of this coming saturdays sailing meet so to speak. Tuesday evening saw quite a few club members at the pool side with a wide selection of model boats. I brought along my newly aquired "Salina", a purchase from the bring n buy sale, mark was also sailing his purchase from the bring n buy, a tug boat. for those of you who missed out, yes you did miss out, there were some good priced itrems and of high quality too. Ah well, maybe you will come along at our next event.
Another "newbie" at the pool was Mark's latest Vac formed hull kit, this was its very first testing. Carl very kindly took delivery of the first "trial unit" and definately gave it a striking finish in its orange paintwork. The hull performed very well and the drivetrain just needs some slight adjustment to get the performance just right, but, "its almost there"!
WATCH THIS SPACE as further updates and the possibility of hull availability may be here very soon.
There is also the possibility of this becoming a "club race boat" too.
MORE NEW TO FOLLOW IN DUE COURSE.
Daz brought along 2 boats, one of which deemed to be very nervous and at one stage did a very good impression of a submarine on a crash dive! Fortunately it resurfaced, but there was a distinct hushed silence for a while untill the boat reappeared again.
Heres some pictures of the sailing meet.
HOPE TO SEE MORE OF YOU ALL SATURDAY !

Nice vac form racer Steve, looks a bit like the Snoopy, will it be commercially available as a kit? Is it Mark doing the designing and vac forming?
