Saturdays sailing saw some new boats to the pool as well as some new faces too, in fact 10 members sailed today, which makes a nice change to see so many sailing together. Still strange to see a number of members on club days that are dull and overcast, yet brilliant sunshine and you all stay away? HHHmmm, can't work that one out.
here goes with the pictures kindly sent over by Mark our club Chairman, as due to other committments, I was unavailable to attend. I was stuck up at Oulton Park racing circuit for the day, getting cold and towards that late afternoon, "very" wet ! The wet tarmac certanly gave us some entertaining moments, including some uncordinated tyre changing in the pit lane, "left hand & right hand" springs to mind, perhaps in time [dont know how long] they may eventually get a tyre change down to less than 5 minutes, as for changing all four, Im not to certain about that, but something to work on during the week.
