HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL
Well here we are in 2011 new builds are well under way some almost completed.As im sure you have seen on the website Daz, Steve Tite, Alan and Mark have been very busy building and keeping us all up to date with the progress of their boats.
My little fishing boat should be ready for the water as soon as we are able to sail.
During the last meeting at the Turf it was decided that the next meeting to be held on
JANUARY 11TH 2011 at 7pm will be the clubs very first A,G,M .
I hope you able to make it as we hope to officially form a committee and set out club membership fees.
I have had word from Steve to say that the pool is virtually “ice free” now, so we can start using it again, so don’t forget to wrap up warmly as its still cold out there even if the sun is shining.
It will soon be time start thinking about shows and meets Steve has already been in discussion with the organisers of the annual model show at Weston park and although this is primarily a model aircraft meeting he has managed to get us a the stand at the show with the use of a shallow pool.
This is usually a very interesting weekend and very well attended and so we hope that you will be able come along to support the club.
I have been thinking about days out, visiting places like the historic warship museum at Liverpool , the imperial war museum London and the docks at Bristol. What do you think ?
This may be an item that is discussed at the AGM along with any other items or issues that you may have.
